MOHAMED BIN MD SAID
Video transcript: Hello, my name is Mohammed and I am very excited to have completed this networking course which took me a few months to complete but I finally made it okay. I enrolled in other course before in iOS networking using dispatch Queue, now using Swift Concurrency. I think it's easier to understand and implement in our SwiftUI app. Also that other courses has git lessons but I did not fully understand the implementation. But in this course Chris explains the git repository exercise clearly and easier to understand. I think the most challenging part is module 4 using core location where Chris troubleshoots the app's multiple API requests and this really challenged my understanding of the whole API structure and data flow. In Module four Challenge the Recipe app, the recipe API requires different endpoints to search for recipe, to extract details and also to search for recipe. At first I thought I have to make two different data service code files. However it seemed repetitive having same code for API requests and data data decoding. So I asked ChatGPT and Claude and both suggested the same solution which is to use Swift generics. Using Swift Generics I can pass any data types into the same data service function so I did not have to do multiple data service for different endpoint URLs and then overall I think this course is challenging but still easy to understand on iOS networking, Git operation, call location and so on. I now have basic understanding, reading API documentation, identify its endpoints, parameters and response sample to suit my requirements. I can develop on my own the data model and data service function for my app. I will definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning iOS app networking to anyone who is interested to learn iOS app development. Overall, thank you very much. Thank you Chris. Bye.

Video transcript: So the database model felt much easier than the previous model, which in turn was easier than the one before. And I realized that it's not about the difficulty, but it's about understanding of the course and improving as a coder. So I'm very happy I found this course. It teaches me exactly the right way, exactly the way I understand. And I'm really looking to forward to doing the. The final assignment. I. I feel excited about that challenge.

Video transcript: My name is Arseni, and I'm really proud of the progress that I've made so far. I want to say thank you to Chris for making the learning material so easy to digest and so easy to follow. Every time I finish a model, every next model is easier to learn than the previous one, which means every piece of information he gives in is in the right order. So we start with the basics and we move forward to learn specifics. And the most recent model I completed about the networking, it was not. I don't want to brag about it, but it was not very difficult compared to the foundation course, which was sometimes I felt like I needed to bang my head against the wall. Well, this time it was fairly easy and enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to the next step in my learning journey.

MOHAMED BIN MD SAID
Video transcript: Hello hi, my name is Mohammed and I'm from Malaysia and I pick this app development iOS app development as a hobby back when Chris was producing tutorials in YouTube using UIKit, you know, doing IB outlets and doing constraints and whatnot and then I left the hobby and I picked it back up back in 2023 and I was struggling to understand SwiftUI. So this course really helped me to understand SwiftUI and understand the container views and how we're going to create views, custom views and everything. What I like most about this course is that all of the modules module 1, 2 and 3 and 4 it gradually increases in terms of the learning curve and the pace is really suits my understanding so that I can easily learn and understand each module and relate back to previous module and use that in the current module and so on. So I would recommend this course to any of my friends who are interested in app development and I hope Chris can continue to make courses great content like this. Thank you.

Video transcript: Hello everyone. My name is Arseni. I work as a construction estimator in one of Canadian cities. Since I began learning Swift and Dax code in general, I have made a lot of progress. And most of this progress is due to Chris and his ability to make lessons very interesting and just short enough for me not to. To be able to understand it and at the same time to learn something new. So I'm very grateful to Chris for that. I'm looking forward to continue this course and I'm pretty excited about the final project that I have to do because I'm. I'm confident in my ability to complete it by myself. I would say the the Code with Chris course is one of the most effective course courses I have taken because I did some other courses on some other websites, but what they do, they just give you some general information that is not well thought. But Chris knows how to keep. He kind of knew how to keep me invested in Swift code by giving me the tasks that are interesting and just difficult enough to make me very enthusiastic about doing it, but not too difficult. So I feel desperate trying to complete them and feeling lost. So thank you very much Chris and I'm looking forward to continue this, my learning journey with you guys. Thank you very much.

Video transcript: Hello, my name is Eric, I'm from France It's a little bit hard for me to read her English but it's. I keep on, I keep on grinding, I don't stop so we try to answer about the question so the first what were you struggling with before the course? I'm struggling with Xcode because I I try to understand how everything work but it was a little bit hard for me to to understand all the things all the concepts. How did these schools help? Yes the schools helped me I guess the by doing when you learn something by doing it's the most important because you can stay sit down and listening somebody talking but if you don't practice you don't improve your skill what do you like the most about the course? The the pro the project methodology Would you recommend this to your friend? Yes for someone who try to learn swift why not? Thanks.

Video transcript: My name is Davy, I'm in my teens and 90 days ago I did not know how to code. However, on day zero I decided to join Code with Chris after enjoying the eight day beginner series on YouTube. 90 days on I've just released my first two Vive coded apps, TZoo, which is a challenging logic puzzle to help you keep your brain sharp and what's that word? A fun multiplayer acting game. I love the way Chris took us logically through the code steps, taking time to explain why the syntax was used, not just how I recorded every day of my journey to my Instagram David Builder apps and took viewers on a journey that would not have been possible without Code with Chris. It was great to a real person to message for help and I really enjoyed the laid back feel of the tutorials. I'm now working on marketing my app so I can start generating revenue from it. Thanks Kirby. Chris.

Video transcript: Hi, my name is Edward England and this is my first voyage into programming on a Mac and I have loved it. It's been fantastic to take this iOS Foundations 2023 course and I've learned so much. I've taken some Windows programming before, so some of the basics were pretty familiar to me. I just need to learn the syntax and the structure with xcode, but I've really enjoyed it, so looking forward to the next course.

Video transcript: Hey Chris, thank you very much for a really nice iOS networking course. I'm really amazed how you prepared the information regarding APIs, both theoretical part and practice. I knew previously about APIs, but the thing is that I was not implementing them in practice. So you've made it really hands on. In terms of theory, it was really perfect that you explained all the foundations so that and you use these foundations and the terms throughout the whole course so that it helps really to really easy to grasp and to follow the terminologies and the namings. And in terms of practice, I always loved when each module was finishing with the exercise when you needed to go and explore new APIs so that it's not like one or two examples throughout the course, but I don't know, maybe five or six that really kind of like help to overcome the barrier of trying to learn something new and trying to build something new. So that was really helpful and already carried on my journey to the iOS databases. So really look forward how it all gets pieces together. And I also by the way loved the overall flow of the courses leading to launching the new app because it starts with the foundation to get the solid ground, then start getting the basic applications where you just display the data and that's how I'm attached. I'm attaching my my application called Formula one Fans app where I just visualize the data but then I would be curious to within my my app to also source some feed and source some data. That's why I think the flow of having databases is the third course is perfect. So I really love the overall journey. So thanks again for the learning opportunity. Excited to carry on.

Video transcript: Thank you Chris for this recordings. This is a really great course. I think what I struggled before I started the course is that I tried to write it myself via ChatGPT, but I wasn't able to understand how the connection between the views work. So that's why all my code was failing. Now I kind of understand how the interaction works and to be honest, when I was also doing some challenges and exercises, I found that within current year where we are 2025 with ChatGPT basically you can write the app in the friction of minutes. So this is really nice and I like a lot that during this course, and I'm being quite new to the whole area of app applications, you were introducing the basic terminologies and really paid attention to the foundation. So that helped me to have a solid, I would say ground and then I could use the terminology when I'm explaining things that I want to build with ChatGPT. So this is really important for me and that's why I actually decided to carry on and I'm now on the second course of networking. Thank you.

Stephane Boutet
Video transcript: Hi, Chris and the team. My name is Stephane Boutet and I just got my app, Scientific Timer, accepted to the App Store. So thank you for your course. Just to give you a bit of background, I'm a scientist, a biologist with no real or formal training in computer science or programming or coding. I know a little bit of bioinformatics to analyze genomic data, but I had no experience with SwiftUI or making a mobile app. So your course were really great for me to start from scratch and I particularly enjoyed the way all the different courses, fundamentals, Swift data networking, were put together because it's really starting from scratch and step by step it ramps you up to build your own app. What I also really enjoyed was that building an app is not just coding. There is a big part in terms of designing and the courses are giving a lot of information and tools. So you are able to do the other part, not just the coding part, but the design on finding the tools so you can build your apps. It took me nine months, almost a year, but it was totally worth it and I think I'm ready to build more, more apps. I will definitely recommend your course to my friends. Your course was already recommended to me by a friend of mine and I jump on it and start learning. Thank you so much.
